Located off North Kalimantan on the island of Borneo.

Getting There

Fly into the Berau airport from Jakarta followed by a 20 minute taxi ride to the Jetty.  From there it is a 3 hour private boat transfer or via public ferry.

Land Adventures

From Balikpapan, venture deep into the heart of Borneo by way of its winding river system.  A riverboat journey takes you through the jungle as Proboscis monkeys leap from tree to tree along the river bank and pink freshwater dolphins surface for an appearance.  The river’s shifting channels meander through grasslands, leading to remote villages rich with culture, where you’ll encounter ancient longhouses and experience traditional ceremonies.
