Location

Getting There
International flights come into Nassau or George Town. The best way to explore the islands is by private boat. If that is not an option than you can do day trips by high-speed boat from Nassau or fly into Staniel Cay and base yourself from there.
Land Adventures
The Exumas offer excellent hikes along powdery white sand beaches and rocky cliff tops. They are also home to unique wildlife like the Rock Iguanas and Hutia. The Hutia once thought to be extinct are a rodent about the size of a rabbit. Look for them at night in the bushes of Shroud Cay in the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park. The swimming pigs of Big Major Cay always draw a crowd.

Destination Drink
Nothing goes down better than drinking a spicy margarita from the Xuma Beach Bar while relaxing on the raft off Highbourne Cay.
